Hello Friends and Potential Donors,

Music is my livelihood, and Oklahoma is my home—my heart. So, when I heard more about OKPOP’s mission to inspire and empower young Oklahoma musicians or artists like me, I knew I had to get involved. OKPOP is telling the stories of Oklahomans who influence pop culture in such a cool and innovative way, and folks from all over the country are going to love it.

Please consider joining me, and others, to support the final fundraising phase to open OKPOP to the public.

Honorary Campaign Chair

Pop culture is the heart & soul of Oklahoma. Immersive and educational exhibits are also the heart & soul of OKPOP.

The Heart & Soul fundraising campaign to complete OKPOP will utilize funds to:

  • capture, restore, and catalog thousands of Oklahoma artifacts and collections;
  • support the design and construction of immersive, world-class interactive installations and exhibits;
  • provide financial support for education, programming development, technology
    implementation, and marketing.
Fundraising Update

For every $1 committed, OKPOP will receive a matching $1 from the State of Oklahoma.

Following the passage of House Bill 2673 by both the House and Senate in 2025, the path to unlocking these matching funds has been strengthened. The bill allows multi-year pledges and contributions dating back to May 2021 to count toward the $18 million state match for OKPOP.

In addition to fundraising, the OKPOP team continues to acquire items and conduct interviews of Oklahoma pop culture icons. Once fully funded, the design and buildout phase will begin with an anticipated opening of about 24 months after funding.

Matching funds must be provided by November 2025. With your support we can turn up the funding volume for OKPOP and complete the museum!

Thank you to our founding donors! These donors recognized the potential and importance of OKPOP and raised their hands to be the first to lend their support. They prioritized a gift to preserve our legacy, celebrate Oklahomans, and create a museum to educateand inpsire the next generation of artists.
